The list of ingredients called for a sprig of Tigress brand mint. Alice was a stickler for details, so she just had to find the exactly right ingredients, no substitute would suffice. So she drove to the local mall, tried every health food store and she couldn't locate the brand, much less the proper mint. Just as she was about to leave, she spotted a store which she had never seen before in the mall. The old man at the counter greeted her, 'Hi Alice, what can I do for you.' She was a bit startled that she was recognized on a first name basis, but maybe she had been here before and just not remebered. She responded 'I need a sprig of 'Tigress brand mint', do you have such a thing?' 'Oh yes, it is very rare and hard to come by, I'll go get it...' He went to the backroom without finishing his sentence.

He returned with a small, ornate package of the mint. Alice asked 'I am using this particular cake recipe because it is not supposed to be non-fattening." The old gentleman replied 'You'll have no problem there. The mint has special reducing properties..." Alice interrupted 'I need to run, what does it cost?'

'No cost, unless it actually works for you.' he replied. The old man handed her the mint and Alice thanked him and left.

Alice finished her first bite of cake, it was wonderful. She hadn't even bothered to get a spoon from the silverware drawer. She grabbed the small plastic spoon she used to measure vanilla.

Alice felt a bit strange, a little bit woosy. The room seemed to be getting larger and large. 'That can't be right, I must be imagining it." Alice thought. But the changes seemed to be speeding up. She held the spoon, which seemed to be growing larger and larger by the minute.

Alice started to notice that her arms chaming color, to an orange hue. She felt an itching sensastion all over her body. Within moments she had a thick coat of fur! A bit dazed, she looked around, the cake had grown huge, no no, she had shrunk! What was it the old man said about 'special reducing properties...'

Hmm.......interesting name. This reminds me of the time my mom introduced
me to one of her old roommates in college. After I heard it, I laughed so hard,
I couldn't breath. Her name was "Gay". Yes you read rite. Anyway this piece is interesting.
